Croydon Integrated Psychological Therapy Service (CIPTS)

How our service can help you

CIPTS is a comprehensive established team of psychologists and psychotherapists delivering a range of talking therapies including Cognitive Analytic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) and Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET).

CIPTS provides psychological assessment and treatment for adults mostly aged between 18-65 years who present with complex mental health difficulties that require a secondary care level of treatment. We support people who live in the London Borough of Croydon. CIPTS is an equivalent service to the Integrated Psychological Therapy teams (IPTT) in Lambeth, Lewisham and Southwark.

We receive referrals from the Croydon Assessment & Liaison Team, the Croydon Improving Access to Psychological Therapies Service (IAPT) and the Croydon Treatment Team. GP referrals for secondary care psychological treatment come via the IAPT team and Assessment & Liaison Team. We work closely with other teams, providing consultation and teaching.

Please contact the service for information about the referral process, inclusion and exclusion criteria.
