We provide assessment, treatment and care for Looked After Children and Young People, up to the age of 21, with severe emotional, behavioural and mental health problems. We care for children and young people who are looked after by the local authority.

We provide a Tier 3 CAMHS to children and young people, up to the age of 18, and Tier 2 CAMHS to people aged 18-21.
A Tier 3 CAMHS is provided by a team of specialists in a community mental health clinic or hospital outpatient clinic. This service is for children and young people who have had severe and complex problems for some time.
Team members in a Tier 3 service are likely to include child and adolescent psychiatrists, social workers, clinical psychologists, community psychiatric nurses, child psychotherapists, occupational therapists, as well as art, music and drama therapists.
A Tier 2 CAMHS is provided by a single mental health practitioner as a first line of response for young people with mental health problems. This service is provided for children who do not need to receive treatment from a team of health and social care professionals, but can be treated by a single practitioner.

This service is available to children who have a Lewisham GP.
