Dr Majella Byrne
Background
Dr Byrne is a Clinical Psychologist and joint PICuP co-ordinator of the award-winning Psychological Interventions Clinic for Outpatients with Psychosis (PICuP) service where she sees clients for Cognitive Behaviour Therapy for psychosis (CBTp), provides clinical supervision in CBTp to psychological therapists in training, assistant psychologists and qualified clinical psychologists. Dr Byrne provides teaching and training on Masters and Doctoral programmes within and outside of the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience, King’s College London. She is a member of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and Division of Clinical Psychology (DCP), and the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP).
Other Roles
Dr Byrne has specialised in cognitive behaviour therapy for psychosis for the last 17 years. She is the joint clinical director of the DClinPsych course at Kings College London and provides training and supervision in cognitive behaviour therapy for psychosis.

Research interests include CBT for psychosis, early intervention for psychosis, epidemiology of psychosis.
