KnowledgeShare: personalised current awareness

Overwhelmed by information or not sure how to keep up-to-date? KnowledgeShare is a targeted current awareness service available from Reay House Library.

KnowledgeShare notifications are personalised and based on your stated interests, pointing you to guidelines, policy documents and a wide range of summarised evidence. KnowledgeShare focuses on the evidence that will change practice and you will not be inundated with primary research articles.

KnowledgeShare is a web-based system that is NHS OpenAthens password protected.

Register online or contact the library for further information.

Current awareness bulletins

New journals and grey literature are checked to produce current awareness bulletins, in which details of relevant articles, guidelines and reports are listed by subject area. Reay House Library has carefully selected the following bulletins produced within the NHS for local distribution:

  • Mental health and social care bulletin (latest guidelines, systematic reviews, reports)
  • Nursing bulletin (general issues including leadership, quality, innovation, safety and infection control)
  • Public health and social care bulletin
  • Multidisciplinary education bulletin
  • Knowledge alerts for commissioners
  • Health management bulletin
  • Frail and older people's care bulletin

If you wish to receive a copy please contact the library by telephone 020 3228 6141 or email library@slam.nhs.uk.

Bespoke evidence search auto alerts

You can ask Reay House Library to carry out a literature search to support your research, service development or clinical practice. We can also turn these searches into automated alerts so that you receive regular emails notifying you of new publications relevant to your topic.

For assistance with setting up alerts, please contact the library.
