The Estia Centre is a specialist training, research and development resource for those who support adults with learning disabilities and additional mental health needs.
Our aim is remove health inequalities for people with learning disabilities and additional mental health needs though research-led programmes of learning and evidence-based practice. All our learning and development programmes are designed and delivered in close partnership with our clinical subject matter experts and experts by experience. We deliver a wide-range of specialist, bespoke and tailor made learning and development programmes to care and support teams across London and the UK.
The Estia Centre is widely acknowledged as a leader in specialist training and research in mental health and learning disabilities. As an integral part of local services for people with intellectual disabilities provided by the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust we are based at the Maudsley Hospital in London and are part of King's Health Partners.
