Introduction to searching Medline and other healthcare databases (HDAS)

Need to do a literature search? Book on LEAP to come along to these free sessions and pick up some simple tips for effective searching of databases such as Psychinfo, Medline, Embase or CINAHL. These sessions cover the basics of planning and executing database literature searches, and saving and exporting references.
 

More Advanced Literature Searching Using Databases (HDAS)

If you want to get even more out of your searching, why not attend our more advanced workshop? These sessions are suitable for searchers who already have some experience and want to develop their skills further. Content includes use of subject thesaurus, proximity searching, refining search results, and combining and deduplicating results from more than one database.
