Services Provided:
Mixed ward with 18 beds for adults with acute psychiatric illness referred by the Triage ward.
The service is for:
Powell ward is the locality ward for Speedwell Community Mental Health Team and it covers the catchment area for SE4, SE8 and SE14.
Opening Times:
Provides care for 24 hours, 7 days per week. Visiting times 2.00pm - 5.30pm and 6.30pm - 8.00pm. Children can visit at short notice but this must be agreed with nurse in charge. Visiting at other times can be arranged but needs to be negotiated.
