Services Provided:
The project provides an Intensive Rehabilitation Treatment Programme that follows therapeutic principles. It offers an intensive weekly programme with different daily groups, 1:1 work and daily meal support for the clients.
Groups offered are community groups, gender group, emotions group, Residents group, catering group, cooking group, coping strategies group, relationship with food group, art group, leisure group and other groups requested by the community.
Clients will be supported to plan and include external commitments ie voluntary work, educational, "getting back to work" and therapeutic courses to aid self confidence and self esteem. These will be in addition to the group programme.
Clients have an allocated primary worker and associate with whom they can meet for 1:1 sessions.
The service is for:
The project supports clients with an eating disorder and other emotional issues. The clients are encouraged to be active in the community, making daily decisions, taking on responsibilities and roles in the running of the house.
Clients are supported to identify negative behaviours that effect their nutrition, explore their attitudes and perceptions about food, developing positive relationships and practising identifying needs, expressing and managing their feelings with others.
We offer time limited packages of care and support that work with an individual’s psychosocial needs during 3,6,9,or 12 months placements. (Residential Stay Packages) Long term placements are available i.e.12 -22 months). All residential stays are inclusive of 5 transitional outreach sessions which can be used within the first 6 months after the placement ends.
The focus of this care option is Rehabilitation and Occupation and it is aimed at clients who have a significant level of recovery, i.e. they are in the contemplation or maintenance stage of change and have increased insight and an ability to engage in therapy. The aim is to establish and maintain recovery combined with re-socialisation, return to career/education or establishment of less stressful career/education option so as to maintain health. The aim of this care option is to promote and develop independence around taking responsibility for self in both physical and mental health and life choices.
Opening Times:
The project is residential.
Office working hours are 9.30am - 5.00pm.
Resident's visitors are welcome outside of group times only by arrangement with residents and staff.

Other Information:
The project is located 10 minutes walk from Chislehurst BR station and Bickley BR station both with travelling time to central London of 25 min. There are regular buses routes from Mottingham, Sidcup and Bromley.

Written NHS Consultant Psychiatrist's referral letter required.
Fully completed referral documents required for stage 2 and 3 prior to appointments.
Referrals by appointment at three stages,
1. a visit to look around the house,
2. an assessment which is 1.5 - 2 hours
3. an overnight stay/programme experience with a group interview.
