Lewisham Dual Diagnosis Service
Services Provided:
Provides support (advice, training, and short term intervention) to community mental health teams who are treating people with a Dual Diagnosis(substance misuse plus a mental illness).
The service is for:
Clients with mental illness and substance misuse who are on the caseload of community mental health teams in Lewisham.

Other Information:
The Dual Diagnosis Team currently consists of a Manager, three dual diagnosis practitioners attached to CMHT's (one in each of Lewisham's teams), there Dual Diagnosis practitioners in Lewisham's Assertive Outreach Teams and one inpatient practitioner who provides support at the Ladywell Unit, Lewisham Hospital.
We work closely and are guided by the Consultant Nurse in Dual Diagnosis for the Trust.
