Anyone who has ever had a health problem, or who has been worried about the health of someone they care about, knows the value of  reliable, up-to-date information about what help is available, how to access it and the chances of recovery. We are committed to providing you with clear and helpful information about our clinical services. In this section of our website you can view our patient information leaflets and can find out about medication.

In December 2011 the Trust achieved Level 3 in the NHS Litigation Authority Assessment, demonstrating that we have a robust Patient Information Policy governing the management of information for patients and that the policy has been effectively implemented. SLaM is the only mental health trust to currently hold Level 3, which is the highest possible standard.
