Photography and filming at South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (SLaM)

SLaM operates from over 150 sites across south London, including both the Maudsley Hospital, Denmark Hill, and the 250 acre Bethlem Royal Hospital site in Beckenham.

The Trust can accommodate requests to use our grounds and facilities as locations for photography shoots and filming purposes including making dramas, documentaries or news programmes.

However, we have an overriding duty to protect the confidentiality of our patients and photography and filming is not permitted on Trust premises without prior consent from the Communications and Media Department (see contact details below).  Anyone found doing so without permission will be asked to leave immediately.

Requests to use Trust premises for filming or photography

The availability of facilities and locations can vary considerably and the Trust charges a facilitations fee for their use, unless the activity is directly related to the work of the Trust.

Filming at weekends and evenings may also be possible.

Anyone wishing to use our grounds or facilities for filming or photography purposes should contact the Communications and Media Department on 020 3228 2830 or via communications@slam.nhs.uk
