The Roundhouse explores dementia

The Autobiographer by Melanie Wilson will be shown at the Roundhouse in north London on Friday 22 October at 8pm and Saturday 23 October at 8pm. The Autobiographer, which was produced with the help of SLaM's Croydon Memory Service, is a performance which explores the subject of dementia by combining the highly crafted poly-vocal textures of a live chorus with a richly detailed soundtrack.

Through the piece, Melanie Wilson will explore the many voices of one character, of one condition - the connections between the fractured brain and fractured narrative - to imagine the quality and experience of being in the middle of a demented brain. This will be the first public outing of the show which is hoped to premiere in autumn 2011. Click here to visit the Roundhouse website and book tickets.
