Major National Institute for Health Research funding award

SLaM and the Institute of Psychiatry's Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) has received the biggest uplift in research funding of any NIHR centre. The Government has announced £53.3m new funding for our BRC research and development of ground-breaking treatments and care for mental health and dementia. Of this,  £4.5m is for the development of a new Biomedical Research Unit (BRU) for Dementia.
