Maudsley Simulation Training  for NHS Clinicians

Maudsley Simulation is the UK’s first simulation training centre focusing on mental health with the aim of improving services for all who are affected or impacted by mental health issues. Since 2014 working as part of South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust, we have successfully developed a range of new simulation training courses which you can browse their website for more information.

Estia and Maudsley Simulation collaborated with the Baked Bean Theatre Company to co-produce training about meeting the health needs of people with a learning disability.

The Estia Centre has also consulted with Maudsley Simulation and SHRINE to develop simulation training ‘How to start a difficult conversation’ about meeting the sexual health needs of vulnerable populations – those with mental illness, substance misuse or intellectual disability
